Pico Union

Responsible for coordinating with outside agencies that provide enrichment activities to make them available to YPI Pico-Union Center participants. Activities will include, but are not limited to tutoring, sports, art, dance, music, and computer literacy. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:• Create and implement exciting, educational activities that provide a safe space for youth engage in center services• Facilitate, supervise, and maintain at least twenty youth per class• Provide tutoring on both an individual level and through group activities• Supervise all participants to ensure a safe learning environment and organized program• Must maintain accurate attendance records and ensure that students sign in and out each day• Prepare educational lesson plans• Maintain communication with Department Director, Assistant Director and Senior Case Manager in order to ensure activities are in line with youth service plan• Adhere to tutor/student boundaries as outlined in Code of Conduct• Build relationships with students, parents, and administration

 Support the Intervention Facilitator with various tasks related to policy and procurement according to district’s Federal and State guidelines Develop, administer and score various assessments according to district guidelines Maintain records of test scores, student data and information Monitor student progress in supplemental academic programs

 Development and operation of middle school after school programs; supervise and develop line staff Communicate with the administration and other stakeholders regarding the program and ensure continued progress Monitor student information, maintain accurate student records, and monitor student academic performance to support academic development  Manage Budget and other personnel documents
