Currently working on challenging modelling tasks inside H2020 project AI-TWILIGHT, where I am implementing Digital Twins for the lighting industry. The goal is to provide them also a brain through AI. Moreover, I am also contributing to the development of fintech tools and much more!

During my collaboration with LightBee I participated in project LightKey. This project was funded by the European Commission in anH2020 SME Instrument Phase II call. I carried out hardware and firmware design in order to achieve a TRL8 in the visible light communications-enabled doorlock.

I was a PhD Researcher in project Urban Waste during this period, an H2020 action where a gamification model to encourage tourists to properly make use of the waste collection infrastructure of touristic cities is being developed.Furthermore, I co-directed two PhD theses, and I actively collaborated in the research activities of IDeTIC's Group of Photonics and Communications.

The ULPGC's PhD fellowship grants consider teaching as a complement to the researcher's education. In my case, I gave lessons on Optical Communications to the last-year students of my former Engineering School.

After finishing my PhD, I worked on project ARIES (MINECO TEC2013-47682-C2-1). My main task was to contribute on the publication of the results in high impact factor journals. Currently I am working on H2020's project UrbanWaste, where the impact of gamification on tourists' behavior regarding recycling will be evaluated.

This phase of my fellowship grant is focused on the development of my thesis work. My thesis is entitled: "Contribution on the study of wireless optical systems for underwater sensor networks".The main objective of my thesis is to obtain statistical models to predict the performance of an underwater wireless optical link regarding its geometrical parameters and the physical properties of the propagation medium. Besides, several energy-efficient strategies are proposed.

This period corresponds to the "fellowship phase" of the postgraduate contracts of University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I took the PhD courses and credited my level as researcher during this time

Support staff during the description and development of the course entitled: Optical Wireless Communications. This course was carried out in the Science Faculty of Universidad Autónoma San Luis Potosí, México.

I started this fellowship grant a few months before my Master Thesis defense. Inerza joined a consortium to carry out a CDTI project entitled THOFU (spanish acronym). During my participation, we defined the different communication technologies to be integrated on a service-hub hotel model. Besides, an exhaustive state-of-art study were performed, proposing different usage model in the touristic envionment.

I was granted with this fellowship during my 4th year. The purpose of this fellowships is the introduction of last year students into the world of research in communications.
