Designed an image-rejection down-conversion mixer with RF bandwidth from 6MHz to 1.2GHz, fixed IF of 20MHz. Coordinated team efforts including software firmware and testing developed all MTG and ETG, Improve FPY from 10% to 95%.Designed and developed a programmable filter matrix allowing low pass filtering from 250MHz to 5GHz in one single device. The PFM is programmable through a computer via USB connection; it requires calibration and allows for differential or single ended I/O.

Phase hit free design of the RFLO and IFLO including innovative mechanical design and mounting of the oscillators as well as material specification and process of manufacturing. Developed a test set with a Phase hit tester, a phase hit detector and accelerometer recorder set-up to characterize Phase hit over temperature in Oscillators and synthesizers. Eliminated phase hit in several designs: SAW, CRO and VCO. Developed a YIG based synthesizer with an offset SAW LO for the Millennium platform.
