I have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Technology, but my fascination with computers dates back to my childhood. I always knew my true passion lay in computer science and pursued higher education through a scholarship to achieve my goal.In my time as an undergraduate, I developed a keen interest in software development. The rapid progress in both proprietary and open-source software has transformed how online digital solutions are created. These accessible tools have become essential for people to easily achieve their goals with efficiency.I find that using a JavaScript-based stack for web development is highly effective. Specifically, I utilize React.js for the front-end and Node.js/Next.js for the back-end, ensuring a robust development process. Managing code with Git and standardizing dependencies with Docker and Compose for testing, staging, and CI workflows has significantly streamlined my development approach. Moreover, I have been expanding my knowledge of container orchestration, including Kubernetes, to further enhance my skill set.Out of sheer curiosity, I decided to give Go a try and found it to be a truly enjoyable experience. The elegance, power, and simplicity of this programming language immediately captured my interest. As I delved deeper into it, I quickly recognized the invaluable set of skills I was acquiring and how they would enable me to tackle any challenge with greater confidence and efficiency. I was particularly impressed by Go's flexibility and scalability, its swift compilations, and its ability to run multiple programs asynchronously.I believe it's essential to stay informed about the latest advancements in the IT field, with a strong emphasis on blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts. Lately, I've been proactively following the security breaches in these protocols, aiming to identify areas for improvement to enhance their security and reliability. My goal is to contribute to making these systems more secure and resilient.In conclusion, I am firmly convinced that Bitcoin's essential, robust electro-cybersecurity technology foundations (Proof-of-work), combined with other crucial technologies such as the Lightning Network, enable impressive scalability. Additionally, other open decentralized technologies including P2P and DLT ensure that censorship-resistant networks can continue to grow and thrive. Their noble goal is to protect the freedom of choice for everybody in their personal, social, political, and economic decisions, especially in these turbulent and uncertain times.
