- Developing outreach materials suc has brochures, pamphlets, and newsletters to promote the organizations mission and services to targeted audiences- Engaging in community outreach, recruiting, cultivating and sustaining relationships with community members, including clients and volunteers- Recruiting participants for educational programs and other project activites related to cancer awareness, education, screening promotion and support campaigns.- Assisting with event planning (VACF's Annual GALA) such as sending invitations, follow up email/phone calls, and registering attendees- Coordinating administrative tasks such as answering phones and greetings visitors/clients- Handling general office administration tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, and sending mails and payments- Engaging in multiple educational program such as Covid-19 and Flu; additionally, navigating and assisting the community to applying for Housing.

- Provide direct treatment to clients diagnosed with autism and target the current goals of clients’ treatment plans. - Redirect clients when inappropriate behaviors are observed. - Plan and Manage the sessions with clients in order to successfully target all goals in the treatment plan without overworking the clients. - Record data when targeting different goals in the treatment plan. Data is reviewed by the supervisor to determine if clients have mastered the goals. - Communicate with supervisor during over-lapping sessions to discuss problems relating to clients’ progress. - Interact with parents to discuss clients’ current treatment plans as well as teach parents the techniques and strategies that are used during sessions.

- Assisted Dr. Bebra Satterfiled on her research project: Imagine a Better Future for Students with Mental Health Challenges at CSULB. Actionable Data from Beach 2030. - Meet bi-monthly to receive research and academic advising. - Participate in bi-weekly research seminar classes to learn the basics of research. - Present a research poster at the Annual UROP Research Symposium. - Collect data from Beach 2030 to analyze the school community in regard to the campus mental health services. - Generate data according to the responses from Beach 2030. In addition to that, we also collect data by interviewing the participants and conducting surveys and literature research.
