I recently completed my M.S. in Environmental Conservation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which culminated in my capstone project about Geographic Information Systems (GIS), storytelling, and place-based learning in the Guadalupe River Watershed in San José, CA.I'm a deeply curious and determined person who is passionate about engaging the public in connecting with nature in meaningful ways. My previous experiences in science communication and leadership have allowed me to hone my skills in project management, environmental education, and organization. I am very interested in citizen science, placemaking, and equitable access to outdoor spaces.
