Bay Oaks is Miami's best assisted living facility, a 74 years young non-profit leader in retirement living and home to leaders and icons of industry from around the world. I am responsible for hiring, all Policies and Procedures, AHCA compliance, incident reporting and licensing.

I oversee projects on behalf of clients whose success depends on the understanding, insights and involvement of the community or communities where they work. My focus is on transportation and other major development projects, campaign management and strategic messaging. I am responsible for creating and managing innovative opportunities for engaging the public beyond the typical 'public meeting' or charrette, most often through media placement, special events, and intergovernmental collaboration.Additionally, I lead trainings for individuals and companies on market positioning, social media and community outreach..

I was responsible for growing the program to 27 stations, quadrupling membership, cutting the budget by over 122% and increasing revenues twofold. Additionally, I brought on all new staff, managed all capital investments and successfully created and launched a new branding campaign.Broward B-cycle is the country's first countywide bikeshare program and a proud member of the country's only nationwide bikeshare initiative. Members and guests enjoy 275 bikes in Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Pompano Beach and Dania Beach.

I created the public image of this 67 year old non-profit assisted living facility, including the organization's first media relations, blogging and social media programs. I handled all community and government liaison responsibilities. Additionally, I managed staff and volunteers to an exceptional standard of service and ethics; ensured compliance within a changing system of state regulations; reviewed, re-wrote and re-designed all facility forms and procedures (external and internal).

Contributed stories and was responsible for the daily "Today's Headlines" piece at different points throughout the week.

As an independent consultant, I worked with fine wine companies throughout Italy, managing their export portfolios, representing the brands at trade shows (Vinitaly, Benvenuto Brunello, eventi dell'Associazione Italiana Sommelier) and developing communications plans. Clients included L'Aietta and Castello Romitorio in Montalcino, Tuscany and La Munizione in Tropea, Calabria.
