Oversee all operations of the Buckley Community Center. A recreation center with dining services covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, pizza delivery, bar, and event catering. Hiring, training, and leading subordinates. Implementing and adjusting short-term priorities in line with long-term goals. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors. Writing policies and procedures for operation of facility. Prepare budgets, track and analyze expenditures, and assure accounting of all funds and assets.

Overseeing dining services throughout military installations in the Southwest Region. 39 (at the time) concepts throughout the region included event catering, casual, fast casual, large events, quick service, bars, delivery, recreation centers and lounges. Our primary mission was to promote and maintain the well being, morale and efficiency of the Navy community, offering a variety of food, beverage and entertainment throughout the region while operating as a non-appropriated fund (NAF) Category C (profit generating activity) service. My achievements include, but not limited to:- Introduction of new dining concepts. From planning to doors opening.- Training and coaching managers and staff of underperforming locations, resulting in less turnover and higher revenue.- Rebrand failing concepts to bring back customers and attract new ones.- Organizing a successful Navy Foodservice Ashore Solutions Conference with the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA).As a Regional Manager, I was also placed in various locations as the interim manager. My responsibilities spanned from solving a specific problem or completing a project to running the local operation while a long term candidate was being considered.

Intern for Moral, Welfare, and Recreation. Worked closely with the Outdoor Adventure Center to plan events and activities for the Wounded Warrior program. Assisted with ship homecomings, multiple events on base ranging from small gatherings to large base and community festivals with thousands of attendees.

Started training with Camp Adventure in January of 2007. Since then, I have traveled abroad each summer to be involved with day camps for children who's parents are in the military. A rewarding and challenging experience for the first two summers as a counselor (La Maddalena, Italy and Ramstein, Germany). My third and final summer, I was made Director of the school-age camp in Yokosuka, Japan.
