I work to bridge research, teaching, policy and practice - for better lives and stronger communities. I believe that working in multidisciplinary teams with a cross-sectoral approach, and building strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders is the best way to create innovative, meaningful, effective and sustainable solutions to societal challenges.In order to ensure a sustainable and well functioning society we have to promote and protect population mental capital and wellbeing throughout the life course, and ensure life-long learning.In a society characterized by increasing globalization, competition, technological and demographic developments, changing nature of work, as well as global challenges such as climate change, etc., both our mental and material resources are crucial. Mental capital and wellbeing are affected by government policies; by important stakeholders such as educators and employers; and by our families, communities and physical surroundings. No one can do everything, everyone can do something and together we can achieve more.
