Worked as an automation engineer for the platform team where am primarily involved in automating the various tests that are common to the two popular products of Big Switch: BCF (Big Cloud Fabric) and BMF (Big Monitoring Fabric).

Worked as a QA automation engineer for the cloud storage product AltaVault. I was responsible for writing test plans and test cases for new features and automating them using Python. I was also responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the automation infrastructure, running regression automation and debugging issues. Some of the key features I have worked on include:• Automating integration of AltaVault with ONTAP, the NetApp’s data management software • Testing AltaVault’s integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Snowball, for customers who intend to move from traditional storage technologies to the cloud.• AltaVault’s support of the Key Management and Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) and Open Storage Technology (OST)• Tested AltaVault’s functionality with backup applications Eg Veeam, Netbackup etc and cloud service providers such as Azure, Google Nearline amongst others

• Worked on supporting new cloud service providers for SteelStore, a cloud storage product• Responsible for automating and testing cloud backup and restore functionalities using Perl modules

• Worked on core and edge switches such as 1511 MAX, CSD and PSAX • Responsible for automating test cases using Shell and Perl scripts, performing sanity and regression tests on standard and emergency patch releases and bug verification

• Worked on Transaction Processing Facility (TPF), a mainframe OS for American Express• Was involved in detection of ‘fraud patterns’ which occur during transactions of American Express
