No Immigrants No Spice (NINS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on flipping the narrative and shining a light on the contributions of immigrants to our collective culture. Using food as a vector for storytelling NINS elevates the voices of immigrants and generates funds for direct legal aid and advocacy.

Emergency Medicine training at Bellevue Hospital, NYU Langone Medical Center and at the VA Hospital in downtown Manhattan.

Resident physician at Khayelitsha district hospital in Capetown, South Africa; a hospital which sees the highest rates of penetrating trauma in Capetown. Team member in critical resuscitations and trauma stabilization.

Resident physician at Jubilee Medical Mission in Thrissur, India; a snakebite and burn center. Worked alongside EM residents, participated in toxicology rounds and provided care to patients with snake bite injuries.

Head of the clinical interface team. Designed and launched a worldwide online epidemiological survey of Pemphigus Vulgaris. Lab work in PBMC isolation, DNA and RNA extraction.

Worked in the Department of Safety within the Local 100 Transit Workers Union in York City. Developed and conducted a survey of lower body pain in transit workers. Analyzed and compiled the information for the use of the union in negotiations with their employer and presented these findings at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health headquarters in Washington D.C.

Intensive medical spanish immersion as well as clinical rotations in an urban and rural teaching hospital in Quito Ecuador.

Urban ethnography at UCLA: over 200 hours spent in studios, living spaces and the communal cafe researching and deconstructing the social infrastructure of the Brewery, the world's largest artists colony
