I am a logical thinker with a mathematical mindset and have a deep interest in Quantitative Finance. I enjoy using logic and rigor to bring structure and insight to disorderly problems. My ability to create abstractions allows me to transfer knowledge between domains and apply it creatively. I am hungry for new learnings and my motto is to imbibe the learnings from experiences. I take pride in “jugaad”, an Indian term which means coming up with innovative solutions by utilizing the resources at hand. I believe detailed prior knowledge is less important than a way of thinking. This belief helps me leverage the things I do know, to investigate the things which I don’t. I keep asking myself "why?", till I reach the underlying fundamentals. I integrate the new learnings with my existing mental model. This adds a dimension to the way I view things.
