I’m passionate about solving challenging, real-world problems by combining strategy, evidence, and on-the-ground execution. I have implemented large-scale economic research projects in rural India and Bangladesh in areas of labor markets, aquaculture, migration, and gender. In my role, I have served as the bridge between institutions like the World Bank, Gates Foundation and US Universities, and on-ground stakeholders like implementing organizations and field staff. By way of example, some of my projects have included conducting 4,000 household surveys, managing 30+ member teams, and coordinating multiple stakeholder organizations in a single project.Through this experience, I have learnt to manage and implement large programs, engage stakeholders to drive consensus, and navigate complex multicultural environments with no straight answers. On the other side of program management, I started conducting data analysis and developing a deeper interest in quantitative skills. Through the Master’s in Public Policy at University of Chicago, I gained advanced technical skills in tools like STATA, Python, R and GIS through my coursework. I’ve also been intrigued in strategy and client-facing roles, and have thoroughly enjoyed a spectrum of courses in social sector strategy, competitive business strategy and marketing. My experience, skills and academic training position me to learn in new contexts, uncover problem spots and opportunities, and support evidence-based decision-making across sectors.
