I have a very well-rounded professional experience that I've gained over the last 13 years. I worked 10 years in the commercial construction industry, and learned every aspect of our $65 million a year family-owned company. I started from the bottom, and worked my way up while learning crucial business skills in many critical roles within the company. I became very good at multitasking as I often was in charge of several positions at one time. I learned much about purchasing, project and staff management, keeping track of inventory, payables/receivables, insurance, coordinating, bookkeeping, and financial management while working in the construction industry. I then took my experience elsewhere and worked as the controller of an online sports management company. I also maintained my own personal ventures outside of my full-time positions. I authored two books, and became a name in the mental health world. I became a spokesman for the National Eating Disorders association, and traveled the country doing speaking engagements on different mental health topics. I learned much about social media and marketing during this time, and have experience doing many radio, television, and print interviews while also having great public speaking abilities. I continued my work in the health world by becoming a trained and endorsed mind-body health coach, and spent a year working with people on a 1-on-1 basis and also teaching people mind-body techniques in teleconferences in order to help with mind-body symptoms such as pain, anxiety, fatigue, stress, etc. I have experience with kitchen and juice bar operations and management. Working at a juice bar within a large nutrition shop gave me new experiences to learn while working 1-on-1 with the public, and keeping a clean and well-organized kitchen. I'm skilled in receiving produce deliveries and maintaining back stock while keeping track of and rotating a clean display at all times, and I have experience monitoring produce inventory.
