I have been involved in the Electrical Distribution field for many years now (1977); I started as a truck driver at Westinghouse Electric Supply Company, held various positions in my career, the last one was Branch Manager at City Electric Supply.One of my favorite positions was at Priester Supply Co, which was later acquired by Stuart C. Irby Company where I got to learn the Utility side of the business which posted a great challenge for me. There I got the opportunity to create ideas to help contractors minimize their inventory waste by designing various ways of "kitting" materials.I also acquired vast knowledge in operations management, supply chain and logistics at Border States Electric Supply Company where I had the opportunity to work with very serious and talented individuals in all phases of distribution technology as well.I am a highly conscientious, self-motivated individual with proven leadership, supervisory and motivational abilities who through years of experience in this electrical distribution business has built an excellent reputation for quality and an in-depth knowledge of all facets of the wholesale and retail distribution field. I am a detail-minded individual, I have excellent communication andmotivational skills and a special talent for helping others improve themselves. I have been fortunate to have coached 4 young athlete/students to become New Mexico State champions and National Junior champions in the discus throw. And have had the opportunity to hire, train and work along side numerous individuals in the electrical supply business who are now very successful as managers, sales persons and manufacturers representatives.I have also motivated and helped developed individuals in the field of Latin music (Salsa) be successful band leaders and excellent performers by showing and educating them in the basics of the genre.I still have a lot to offer.
