Roles & ResponsibilitiesConducts periodic preventive maintenance as well as breakdown maintenance to plant’s equipments and facilitiesAssists to upkeep a list of spare partsPuts up requisition to replace faulty parts on plant facilitiesPerforms scheduled inspection to ensure the pest control process of the manufacturing facilities environment is effectiveTrouble-shoots electrical/ technical problems and able to perform electrical repair and maintenance as required.Performs regular preventive maintenance to minimize the occurrence of faults and malfunctions.Supervises contractors to ensure that repairs and maintenance works are performed according to required standards.Daily inspection of physical facilities and equipment to ensureApplies Lock-out tag-out system when performing maintenance or repair works.Ensures contractor/vendor adhere to KTS’s safety rule and policy.Performs administrative tasks as assigned such as submission of incidence reports, updating of facilities records, etc.To service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate equipment within the Accommodation blocks which may include plumbing, mechanical, electrical and electronic installations, plant and equipment including air conditioning systems, automatic controls, generators, building management systems ( BMS), cooling towers and other plant equipment.As with other mechanical components of the HVAC system, a preventive and predictive maintenance plan is an excellent way to maintain an efficient system, save energy and money, prevent costly breakdowns, and extend equipment life.
