Created the engineering department for Greatbatch Mexico. The initial organization structure included product development and product transfer support. Developed and implemented lean manufacturing strategy for the different manufacturing business units within Greatbatch Mexico. Achieved $400,000 of savings derived from inventory reduction efforts and manufacturing process optimization

Coordinated efforts of 7 different functions under the engineering department with a reporting structure of 200 employees. Functions included: New Product Development, Safety and Environmental, Process Engineering, Machining and Fabrication, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

Managed more than 600 evaluation projects many of them were used as order winners for Plantronics; with clients such as Lucent Technologies, Northern Telecom, SIEMENS, NOKIA, HP, and INTEL
