Current• First point of contact for all Corrugated Prepress Inquiries (Flexo, Digital, Litho and Screen Print) • Pre-flight electronic files, analyzes potential issues and provides solutions• Technical support and service to Sales, Customer Service, Customer & Vendors • Generate print ready multi page pdf documents for proofing including 3D rendering• Generate Digital corrugated printed samples• Daily use of Esko Automation Engine and Esko Deskpack Tools• Detailed understanding corrugated print machines requirements and limitations• Providing print routing solutions for manufacturing challenges• Prepress work efficiently and accurately meeting proof due dates and production schedules• Key stakeholder to regularly scheduled Corrugated Technology Planning Team meetings• Collaborating with Print Plate department establishing processes and workflows • Experience with contracting work to vendorsPrepress Designer Label Division - Ideon/Great Little Box CompanySept 2007 - 2015 • Pre-flight electronic files, analyzes potential issues and provides solutions • Proofing and set-up process for Flexo label and wrap prepress. • Spot and CMYK colour separation (eight colour separation), Trapping and White underprint. • Experience with Step and Repeat, Across/ Around, Tooth Size and Distortion • Experience with sequential numbering assignments • Responsible for training newly hired Prepress Operators to GLBC systems and workflows TECHNICAL SKILLS • Adobe CS Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop) • Esko Deskpack (Adobe Prepress Plugin Tools) • Esko Automation Engine • Esko ArtiosCAD software (build basic structures, fold and manipulate cartons for 3D proofing • Macintosh & PC OS and applications • Microsoft Office Suite 365
