Being in-house at innocent during this time in the business' history was an education in designing for a challenger brand on its journey to becoming a market leader. When I started, there was only a handful of us in the creative team which quickly grew as the business expanded.During my time at the company we launched innocent juice, started selling our products in Europe, sponsored The 2012 Olympics, published a cook book, moved offices from a warehouse to a tower block, put collectable magnets and seeds into our kids smoothie multipacks and developed a great number of new products (some saw the light of day in-store like super smoothies and bubbles, others didn't make it out of the development kitchen). At the time veg pots and Juicy Water also featured in the product portfolio. So plenty to get stuck into.Aside from creative work I managed three designers, supported the studio manager in approving and distributing briefs and helped ensure everyone's workload remained manageable.My role required skills in: Idea Generation, New Product Development (Packaging), Range Extension (Packaging), Social Media Design, Customer Marketing (New product launch collateral, POS, Sampling Hand Outs, Sampling Stands, Print Adds, Trade Press), Advertising (BTL in-house and input/support on ATL in collaboration with agencies including campaign roll outs), Art Direction, Illustration and Photography.
