Senior finance executive with deep experience in life sciences and similar early stage businesses. Key member of the ASX listed Viralytics team in 2018 A$500 million acquisition by Merck (known as MSD outside the US and Canada) - the largest ever transaction in the Australian biotech sector. Managed other major capital transactions including 2021 A$92 million IPO of Clarity Pharmaceuticals on the ASX. Re-engineered key corporate functions including Finance IT, HR and Insurance.Previously held senior roles with several biotech and innovation based businesses, including several years as CFO and Company Secretary of ASX listed Biosignal Ltd. Prior to that served with the Australian head office of the global Swire Group in a range of treasury, taxation and company secretarial roles. Served the early part of his career in the Audit divisions of two mid-tier Chartered Accounting firms, rising to audit manager. Mr Vickery is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Governance Institute of Australia.
