At Texas Oncology, I lead a team of 5 to support and implement new business and revenue cycle systems. Our team also assists with the onboarding of new provider groups who join Texas Oncology.

Encoda brings an innovative SaaS revenue cycle management platform to the healthcare industry. Our patented BackOffice & Maestro Analytics suite dramatically improves the operations of medical billing service providers, making them extremely more efficient and effective. Encoda customers grow their businesses while significantly reducing back office resources by typically 25% or more. Clients can license our BackOffice platform to do their own billing, or contract for Encoda to provide co-sourced or fully sourced revenue cycle management services. I lead a team of bright, professional, project managers and enrollment specialists to assist in client implementations of the Encoda product suite. At Texas Oncology, I led a team that supported and implemented new revenue cycle systems and aided the onboarding of new provider groups. In addition to providing technical support to 600+ providers and 4.5K+ users, I focused on expanding the telemedicine platform, onboarding provider groups, and implementing new revenue cycle and business applications. Key Achievements:• Introduced a new data archival solution for disparate systems that met HIPAA compliance guidelines.• Spearheaded an 18-month $11M business practice management system installation servicing 4.5K+ users.• Expanded telemedicine platform to 800+ support staff and 600+ providers.• Participated in research for Telemedicine in Community Cancer Care: How Technology Helps Patients with Cancer Navigate a Pandemic for JCO Oncology Practice.

In this role, I frequently multi-tasked to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously. I implemented new software and led office relocations, cancer center builds, onboarded new practices, and performed upgrades. During this time, I was progressively given additional leadership responsibilities. Awarded IT Support Professional of the Year in 2016.

During this time, I oversaw daily operations for the Project Management Office and offered key guidance to a team of 2. I ensured all projects followed strict guidance and timelines, frequently identifying ways to boost efficiency. I also built long-term relationships with clients. Key Achievements:• Established the Project Management Office.• Developed all processes, procedures, and guidelines for PMO.

At Vitalize Consulting Solutions, I worked with several different clients to complete projects. Each short-term project was focused on improving healthcare operations. Assignments included:• Interim Director Information Systems at Stamford Health System: Led team of 30 and provided support to community and hospital-owned practices. Implemented eClinical Works and established a physician workgroup committee on EHR best practices. • Manager Revenue Cycle at Holy Redeemer Health System: Oversaw all charge entry, billing, cash posting, collections, and coding activities. Decreased charge lag by 21 days, increased collections 25%, and decreased DSO by 30 days.
