After working as Speech Language Pathology Assistant for nine years, contracted through Robeson County Schools, I decided to pursue another career. This past May 2013, I reached an accomplished goal of earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work. While studying, I was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Chapter, as well as the Alpha Delta Mu National Social Work Society. I completed my internship at Hoke County High School, working with adolescents from diverse backgrounds. My passion is to continue working with adolescents, striving to assist in meeting their needs. In the near future, I envision returning for my Masters in Social Work, to ensure that I am better equipped to do what I feel I am purposed to do: meet the needs of youth.
