I first assist on all peripheral vascular cases. My duties include positioning and prepping the patient for surgery,assisting the surgeon during the operation, femoral artery exposure, open and endoscopic vein harvest, and closure of wounds. I also manage the daily assignments, the vacation schedule and requests, payroll, hiring of new associates, and disciplinary issues.
