I am naturally driven, inquisitive and detail oriented, someone who enjoys problem solving, but not just for the satisfaction of solving the puzzle (yes, that's great too), but more for the challenge, development and learning along the way. Through my life experiences, I have grown to be a dynamic and collaborative leader with a passion for continuous improvement of myself, others and systems, for the "greater good". It all began at the tender age of 18 when I was involved in a system replacement project for Y2K (the dreaded YY format) and I LOVED IT! I found my niche in data and systems! I taught myself how to build MS Access Databases and write Excel formulae, and then I found SAP at Sunwater. I started on SAP master data updates for the closure of Renewals projects, which gave me a solid understanding of SAP Asset Hierarchies, Work Management, Project Governance and everything in between. Soon I was overseeing enhancements to our custom SAP Work Management System for Long Term Planning, Condition, Risk and Projects. With in house developers and analysts by my side, I loved the thrill, satisfaction and challenge of taking "wouldn't it be cool if the system could do this?" or "we need to implement this business change" through the lifecycle of concept, scope, design, build, test and implement. In 2015, with a heavily customised ECC making upgrades difficult, we decided to start our ERP replacement journey. Over the next few years, I managed multiple data cleansing projects and was involved in requirements/evaluation for the ERP replacement. I was seconded to the project as SME for EAM in 2019. In 2020, we went live with S/4HANA 1909 including Fiori, PM, MM, LO, FICO, GEF, SAM, ASPM & SAC, with multiple interfaces to other systems. After the project, I was made Business Process Lead for EAM and now oversee all continuous improvement of SAP EAM solutions and touch points with other systems/processes. As well as my functuonal and technical expertise, I am a confident public speaker and have presented at multiple SAP conferences/events with excellent feedback. I am the EAM Lead for the SAP Australia User Group (SAUG).
