Directed and led a 16-person foundation team through two very successful capital campaigns – the $150M Lifeline Campaign and the $20M Pediatric Emergency Department Campaign. As a member of the Leadership Team, this included building and executing a campaign plan; developing tools for gift officers to solicit, cultivate, and steward donors; analyzing regional deployment of alumni and community members; managing high-level solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship events; and designing and implementing a donor stewardship and recognition program.• Developed prospect pyramids, analyzed gift officer portfolios, created and trained gift officers on a tiered system for tracking and reporting, and established an acknowledgement cycle for new and existing donors. Created and implemented a Gift Officer Policy for crediting and accountability.• Managed the Development Operations team (stewardship, research, gift processing) in the day-to-day operations. Established and implemented policies and procedures, updated and refined the database and reporting structure, created templates, and stewardship recognition levels.• Supported both the Foundation and Communications divisions with all human resource interactions, hiring, evaluations, promotions, and job audits.• Directed the administrative support team, setting priorities, managing work flow and training opportunities, and coordinating operations.

Managed the operations of the Campaign Office during the highly successful Renaissance at Rensselaer Campaign, a $1.4B comprehensive campaign, the largest in RPI’s history. Assisted the leadership team in setting strategy and goals, campaign collateral, messaging, and events.• Developed and implemented campaign messaging through a series of specialized events (Renaissance Weekends, Renaissance Fair, and Platinum Visits).• Liaison to the Board of Trustees, President’s Cabinet and top faculty, staff, and students.• Supported the needs of high-level volunteers, including the Campaign Leadership Team and the Campaign Steering Committee.
