Clinical director that provides oversight of daily operations for a 20 bed in patient unit, pre-op, recovery room and pain clinic. Ambitious and builds/retains high performance teams by hiring, developing and motivating skilled professionals.* Plan, develop and implement processes, guidelines and policies that enhance the quality of care* Provide leadership to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations as well as nursing practice standards* Ensure effective and efficient budget management that assures the best utilization of resources* Assist in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating strategic operations* Meet formally and informally with physicians, other department heads and staff consistently to ensure best practice standards and positive patient outcomes* Provide effective staff management (hiring, development, training, performance, feedback, scheduling, terminations, etc.)* Work closely with utilization review, infection control, risk management and pharmacy for development, review and corrective action as needed* Directly responsible to monitor/maintain excellent SCIP and HCAHPS measures to ensure a high standard of quality care is delivered on a consistent basis* Perform other duties as assigned and needed
