With over 45 years of industry experience, Vicki Sharp is a well seasoned property management professional. After serving an initial enlistment in the US Army, she started her career as a leasing consultant and working up through the ranks to director of operations. She has truly walked the walk of multi-family property management. Vicki has managed sites and portfolios in privately owned and REIT companies, conventional management, privatized military housing, and active adult communities. She and her husband, Joe Sharp owned a third party property management company based in Austin, TX for 17 years.Today, Vicki specializes in training and motivational presentations for the multi-family industry. She creates her seminars from industry knowledge, past experiences, and shares stories of successes, "stubbed toes", and real life experiences which keep her audiences intrigued and engaged. As a member of the National Apartment Association Education Institute, Vicki has taught the CALP (formerly NALP), CAM, and CAPS courses all across the country.
