MARKETING THAT GETS RESULTS.A marketing problem shared is a marketing problem solved. That was our simple philosophy. Clients chose us for effective sales and marketing strategy and the heavy lifting.We worked with clients to develop a targeted new business strategy. We also undertook telemarketing and business development projects on behalf of those clients. We provided fundraising support and sessional work to small charities and nonprofits.

I was the Community Fundraiser for Meadow Well Connected. I helped raise the profile of the Meadow Well Connected charity, managed corporate relationships with businesses, undertook business development and some community fundraising and engagement. We smashed our annual target for their 25th year as a charity. This post gave me a unique opportunity to 'earn and learn' while I was building the foundations for Upstart Enterprise.

Culpitt Ltd is the leading UK wholesale supplier and manufacturer of cake decorating and sugarcraft products. Culpitt manufactures cake boards, cake cards, sugar fondant sheets for photocake, printed edible cake decorations and moulded sugar cake decorations. I was the Trade Marketing Manager and was responsible for a market research project which was key to Cuplitt launching their own gel paste colouring.

I managed a number of accounts including Finning Materials Handling/Caterpillar Materials Handling Division. I continued working freelance for Parenthesis when I relocated back up to Newcastle in 2008. At Parenthesis, a B2B Direct Mail project I managed for Finning/Caterpillar received a 59% response rate.

I managed a number of large website accounts, which include website design, PR and e-marketing activity. These accounts were DfES websites, including teachernet, as well as the Ordnance Survey Mapzone Homework help website.

This was by far the most creative agency I had been part of. My first TV campaign and effective ad campaigns time after time, with lots of creative awards were the norm at WT. Here's three of the accounts I worked on:rightmove.co.uk I managed the account which includes the National TV campaign featuring x-footballer Ian Wright as well as National, regional and trade press, and all point of sale/estate agents materials. I worked on the account team, helping make rightmove the number one property website.Denby Pottery I managed the account, launching the new brand campaign in 2001. I also managed all overseas markets advertising activity, including the US, New Zealand, Australia Canada and Germany.National Express coach travelI managed all national and local press ads as well as radio and produced the Over 50’s TV ad campaign for 2002.

Wilcon Homes I managed all marketing/advertising activity across Northern, North West and Scotland regions. This included press, radio, direct mail, door drops, all sales literature, signage and point of sale.
