I am responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to their studio specific fitness team, with a strong focus on customer service, fitness leadership, member sales and member retention. I work in tandem with the Studio Manager and Regional Head Coach to ensure participants enjoy a consistent and energized Orangetheory Fitness experience. The Head Coach is also responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 32+ clients per session and focus’ on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, power, and using the tools and equipment provided to optimize the participant’s experience and results. When I step into a room to teach or train, I find it easy to step into another person’s shoes and relate to them by taking the time to understand how they may be feeling. I strive to make people feel like they are important, they have meaning & purpose, and I do my best to help them forget about anything that may be weighing on them while encouraging them to focus on themselves whilst having fun. Being forced to explore other avenues in the current situation has enabled me to continue to provide alternative fitness avenues for the community. I designed my own Cycle and core HIIT Zoom workout, SpinFITT, which enabled people to continue their fitness journeys within the comfort of their own homes and created a little bit of happiness with something to look forward to during the most unprecedented time.

The US TAP team sits at around 220-250 Trainers, Assessors and Presenters. Currently in the US you need to have Advanced/AIM trained standard in your program. I was Sprint, Grit and Body Attack. 3 high energy and super fun to coach. The recruitment process is very much business driven and are always looking for the “right people” with the “right talent”. Attitude x Ability = Performance! Team culture is important for this Team so to recruit, train, develop and retain Instructors need right mindset, and who are in it for the right reasons.

The partnership took Les Mills a then-small apparel business and made it global, allowing to get Les Mills branded gear into the hands (and on to the bodies) of Instructors around the world. A truly global apparel partner that reaches all the countries we do is quite hard to find. For Reebok it has meant a direct connection to the group fitness market, which is part of their own business strategy to “own” the category. For Les Mills it has been an opportunity to create a dynamic “uniform” that helps our Instructors and Master Trainers stand out, and enhances our Tribe’s culture.
