Vicki Bodman is a master of balance, thriving on situations that require “big picture” thinking and detailed execution. She has a broad range of experience in cloud/server/storage operations, networking, application support, and software development. Currently Vicki is on the Engineering team at Mailchimp, the world’s most powerful marketing automation platform for small business. She was previously the Head of Systems Engineering at Kabbage, Inc. where she was responsible for both the corporate and web serving infrastructure. Before Kabbage, she was the Senior Director of News and Finance Application Development at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc where she led the strategic direction of platform design and architecture supporting company websites including cnn.com, money.com, cartoonnetwork.com, nba.com, si.com, ncaa.com, and nascar.com. Additionally she led a software development team focusing on content feeds for CNN.com mobile applications.Vicki spent seventeen years at Turner in various roles, including Senior Director of Data Center Operations, Director of Application Support, Director of Core Services, Manager of Application Support, and Unix Administrator. She served as Systems Integration Chief for several CNN.com initiatives, most notably the CNN.com Relaunch, Elections Coverage and iReport.com launch. Prior to Turner, Vicki worked in technical roles for the U.S. Air Force and TheraTX.Vicki holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Mississippi State University. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications, Women In Technology, and Webmonsters. Vicki is a member of the WICT Rising Leader Class 5, a graduate of WIT Executive Readiness, and a graduate of Time Warner’s Leadership Edge. She was the 2011 recipient of WICT's Rising Star Award.
