As a Product Manager at Marketron my primary responsibilities are to drive the development of the products I manage and to represent the best interest of the users of our products.Prior to my current position as Product Manager, I served in several positions; client services representative, implementations, documentation and sales assistant/marketing.

Rainey Radio was another start up station. Again as with WDTL, I setup the traffic system from the ground up and ultimately performed daily traffic and billing duties. I also was reponsible for writing and producing spots as well as news and weather updates.

I left WAPT to go to work with a collegue to start a radio station from the ground up. We started with very small staff. As a result, I was responsible for a large number of duties including setting up the traffic system and ultimately performing daily traffic duties and billing for the station. In addition, I was the Delta Country female morning show sidekick. During the morning show I wrote and read news headlines.

My primary responsibilties at WAPT TV were to assess the planned news events each day, then determine the stories the news team would cover and the formats in which the reports would be produced. I then assigned the stories to reporter/photographer teams. In this position it was important to be flexible and make quick adjustments for breaking news. Another responsibility was to meet with the producer and news director each afternoon to stack the 5 and 10 newscasts. I also occcasionally would take assignments myself in which case I went in front of the camera, then wrote, and edited my own stories or did live shots.

At WSLI I anchored both morning and afternoon newscasts. In addition to covering local and statewide news events I also wrote and produced a weekly public service program called "Jackson Speaks".

Part of a three person news team in the summer of 1983. As in my previous news position my assignment was to stay on top of news worthy local and state current events. Jackson is the capital city, so I covered not only city and county news events, but also statewide events. My responsibilities included covering the police beat, spot news, city council and the state legislature as well a number of significant court cases over the years. In my position I wrote and edited newscasts, and audio as well as anchored newscasts in all drive times.

Began my stint at WJDQ (Q101) as the Production Manager where I was responsible for writing copy and producing and assigning production to talent. Over time I migrated to the news department. As a general assignment reporter I was responsible for keeping up with current events both local and statewide as well as writing and anchoring newscasts.Aside from my station duties I also did voiceover work for advertising agencies.

At WBKN/WMYQ I was a disc jockey nights and weekends, performed traffic and billing duties. I also wrote and produced spots for local advertisers.
