Review salary request and review applicants experience, skills and education in comparison to the position that they applied for and make a recommendation of the appropriate salary for the selected applicant. Review/approve vacancies that are submitted through the online recruitment tracking tool. Review applications that are referred to the department and respond to questions from management who may need assistance with the applicant online tracking system. Serves as staff resource officer regarding policy and procedure inquiries, and assists with the development and implementation of internal business processes and protocols. Serve as a hearing officer to the EERC committee to hear grievances that are file with the County staff that include (discrimination and dismissals).
