In 1978 employment began for me at the age of 18 at the Reliable Life Insurance Company. First position I held was “Tape Librarian” handling reels of information for the Computer room running on VSE a mainframe environment . I moved into a VSE Computer Operator Position. Kemper gave me opportunity to move up in my career. I stepped into management positions, Data Entry / Indexing Manager, promoted into a Sr manager position adding on the Field Management Services Department . Promoted into the Director of Services position overseeing , additional teams Claim Support, Record Retention and the Offsite Storage Facilities. Moving along my role changed overseeing and managing Imaging, Scanning , mail processing. Additional role is our offsite storage facilities retaining historical customer documents. Currently, “2023” I was promoted to a Sr Manager , Facilities. I have had a long career sharing many changes and experiences with the Kemper Life Company. I have met many good people along the way, in the office, and in the field offices. Kemper has been a 40 year journey and I have enjoyed working with them and watching the company evolve.
