Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAACs) were created by the NCAA to give student-athletes a voice. There are committees at the campus, conference, and national level. Each committee is made up of student-athletes assembled to give insight on the student-athlete experience, and offer input on the rules, regulations, and policies that affect student-athlete's lives on campus. The campus SAAC is meant to serve as a local student-athlete voice in addressing issues of student-athlete welfare at their respective institution. -Organize community service efforts involving all athletic teams -Promote communication between athletics, administration and student-athletes -Disseminate information-Provide feedback and insight into athletics department rules and regulations

R Fund is Rutgers Athletics fundraising team. There goal is to provide student-athletes with the support they need to reach their full potential; as students, athletes, and as individuals. The financial contributions of donors helps R Fund advance the mission of Rutgers Athletics and give student-athletes the resources they need to compete. R Fund launched the Student-Athlete Ambassador Program in 2016. The focus of this program is to build a bridge between student-athletes and donors. -Selected to represent student-athletes at revenue sporting events-Hosted and directed donors to their destinations -Distributed pamphlets about specific game day information
