I am currently the Project Coordinator for VOICe (Virtual Opportunity Interchange Center) which is a Manufacturing Community that fosters collaboration among its members using social networking technology that enables small manufacturers find opportunities, while allowing larger OEMs identify competent companies to expand their supply chain reach. It also allows companies to promote new advanced technologies to a community looking to expand their skill set. As Project Coordinator, I support the day to day operation of the website. Responsibilities include assisting new members through the registration process, tracking website metrics, and developing business processes associated with the project. I work closely with Imaginestics to coordinate the continued development of VOICe. I joined the NCDMM early in 2003 initially supporting Mr. Huston as his executive assistant. My organizational skills helped develop the necessary business policies and processes required by the government that the Center still uses today. Promoted to Communications Administrator, I was responsible for all NCDMM communication including development of the website and the original newsletter “NCDMM E-News.” Additionally, my responsibilities included development of the Annual Report, corporate video, press releases, show booth materials. I continue to be responsible for the coordination of the annual visit by the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) Manufacturing Industry Study Group. I began my career in the public relations department of a New York television company as an executive assistant to the vice president. After raising my children, I returned to work at the corporate headquarters of the Italian Oven on their real estate development team. In 1997, I joined Kennametal Inc. as administrative assistant to Mark F. Huston, Director Global Engineering.
