Responsible for researching, mapping, establishing and implementing a project to support people affected by Cancer in the Wokingham borough. The project role includes, developing the brand, PR, promotion and social media activity for the network. Working with health care professionals to encourage referrals into the scheme. Recruiting peer-to-peer Cancer Champion volunteers, training and developing their roles. Delivering support to people affected by Cancer through group work, direct and online support.
