My passion project which moved from a Donor Advised Fund to a 501C3MissionOur mission is to provide comfort to those less fortunate by helping take care of their family members, and friends, with paws and fur. We will do this by being a resource, a provider and and an educator.DescriptionMost of the time, those less fortunate than many of us, mainly the homeless population, have only one or two things they hold most precious...their pets. Their pets provide, in a lot of cases, the only stability and/or love they know. It gives them purpose. Coats 4 Canines is their to help them keep those pets safe, warm and in the summer, cool. By providing coats, boots and blankets for their pet, we hope to put their mind at ease a little in each of the different seasons. Besides obtaining (via donations mostly) and distributing cold-weather gear and accessories to the population, we also built and maintained shelter areas inside the Salvation Army cold weather shelter and Springs Rescue Mission.
