Vicki is an experienced senior legal counsel, specialising in the provision of legal advice on financial services regulation (including banking products, funds management, 'over-the-counter' (OTC) products and superannuation) as well as regulated credit. Vicki has over 15 years experience, both as an in-house counsel and at private practice law firms. Having previously held the position of 'senior partner' at two of Australia's leading law firms, Vicki established Mitchell Collins Pty Ltd, a boutique law firm, in October 2018. Throughout her career, Vicki has advised many of Australia's major banks, as well as foreign banks, non-bank lenders and non-bank financial services participants. She is regularly engaged to work with Board members, senior management and Investment Committees as well as internal Legal, Compliance and Risk Departments. In addition to her particular experience in financial services and regulated credit, Vicki provides general commercial legal advice on a variety of matters including management of client disputes, management of intellectual property, regulator engagement, corporate risk management, supply and distribution agreements and general commercial advisory. Vicki is also recognised for her ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
