    The Schengen Peace Foundation, founded in 2007, has two initiatives, the World Peace Forum and the Luxembourg Peace Prize. We are a multi-disciplinary grassroots organisation, 100% volunteer, which connects peacemakers. In 2011, I first presented on the Obama Administration's goals to introduce more women into conflict resolution roles. Since then I have been an active presenter and supporter of the annual forum, including attending: the Romanian 2015 WPF where I presented on aspects of violence in North America; 2016 Florianopolis, Brazil, where I presented on aspects of Genetically Modified Organism (GMOs) Regulatory and Labeling issues across the world with a look at Brazil; and 2017 Amman, Jordan. In 2016 I was asked to be President of the Luxembourg Chapter and the Luxembourg Peace Prize. As President I have formed an Executive committee and added eight categories to the prize, including Youth, Process, Technology, Environment, Art, Inner Peace, Journalism and Sport. I have enhanced our nomination and jury process and secured our first financial gift for a prize category. In 2021 I was asked to join the board of the Schengen Peace Foundation, and in 2022 I joined the board and became President. I• Led a Washington DC Door Knocking session with 35 participants from around the world, visiting 28 Congressional offices in DC to speak on 8 different issues affecting Americans Abroad. • Brought on a social media cross platform team which increased Facebook reach to 2.5M views, Facebook likes by more than 15,000 in 5 weeks, and developed a Twitter following. • Increased our membership in the Get Out The Vote GOTV effort for the 2012 US Presidential and Congressional election by over 30%. • Due to gender balance rules I did not run for a second term.

Locally, we continued our press initiatives and started a Community Corner to organize around issues using the Organizing for America framework to support Health Care Reform amongst other things. When I was elected in 2011 to the International Executive Board of Democrats Abroad as their International Vice Chair, I stepped down from my roll as Chair of Democrats Abroad Luxembourg. I continue to stay involved as a member.
