Vicki-Leigh is currently a Principal Consultant in Management Consulting & Advisory with Turner & Townsend (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg. She has over 20 years of experience in working on projects in Infrastructure, Education, Defence, Aviation, Rail and Port, Mining, Water, Energy and the Oil & Gas sectors.She has extensive experience in behavioural change management in a consulting environment and on multi-disciplinary projects.In her role as Project Manager she manages multi-disciplinary teams while drawing on her broad experience in procurement, operations management, process review and optimisation, quality management and auditing (ISO 9001), integrated reporting, reviewing and drafting policies and procedures, PPP’s and change management.As an Internationally Registered Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA) – ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems she understands the importance of consistently providing services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.Vicki-Leigh is extremely articulate (both written and verbal) and has extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors (locally and internationally).

•Successfully facilitated the award of numerous Bids.•Acting as Bid Manager on the Department of Correctional Centre PPP which comprised of four Projects within one Bid. It is referred to by the current Minister as the ‘Mega Prisons Project” and has been stated as reaching new heights in the delivery of PPPs.•Facilitating the Project Marketing function for the Uganda Police Force Development of Services PPP - Currently at RFQ stage. This Project will have an impact on Uganda’s GDP.

The primary objective of this project is to identify and develop the most viable solution for the beneficial use of waste water and associated by-products derived from the treatment of such water. This primarily means the reuse of treated waste water to augment current sources of water supply for the City of uMhlathuze (CoU), where water is scarce. Vicki-Leigh fulfilled the Role of Project Manager for the Transaction Advisor as well as fulfilling a Stakeholder Engagement advisory role. It is envisaged that this project will be procured through a Public Private Partnership.

The Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) Company of South Africa is the sole provider of air traffic, navigation, training and associated services within South Africa and is also responsible for a further ten percent of the world's oceanic airspace. ATNS was experiencing capacity constraints at its facilities which would impact its ability to deliver the services that they provide and were looking to develop a property in Isando for their head office, training academy, accommodation for the training academy.We were appointed as Development Manager for the Concept, Design & Development phase and to look at the commercial viability of next phases, and as the Principal Agent and Project Manager to undertake the project delivery for the current phases of the project. Following a rigorous process a concept was selected. The next phase is the procurement of the main Contractor.

The National Business Initiative (NBI) was been awarded £8.6 million by the UK Government through its Department for International Development (DFID) to implement a countrywide programme of support to the private sector for Energy Efficiency improvement.Vicki-Leigh Grant was selected as the Head of Operations to deliver this programme following the development and implementation of the PSSE Procurement Framework. This was on secondment from Turner & Townsend.Prior to this The UK Donor DFID appointed Turner & Townsend and Vicki-Leigh as a procurement specialist / consultant to assist and advise NBI in the development of a Procurement Framework. The Procurement Framework will guide the procurement of goods and services under the programme, in pursuit of the objective of delivering value for money.

City & Guilds (International Vocational Awarding Body)•Recruited the Damelin group, 18 centres.•Increased centre applications and registrations.•Worked extensively with Government Training Authorities and centres in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.•Recruited and maintained full branch staff function, including managing a restructuring process.•Facilitated change management systems on implementation of SAP due to operational non-delivery.•Put forward as HUB Manager for Africa in successor plan in November 2007.

British International Distance College (Cambridge International Examinations Centre) •Promoted to Director of Studies after lecturing at the British International College for 9 months.•Growing the British International Distance College’s student base considerably in 3 years thus establishing it as a market leader in providing Cambridge Distance education.•Broadened the existing student base from Southern Africa to the whole African continent, Europe and abroad including Ethiopia, Ghana, Dubai, UAE, Libya, Turkey and Madagascar. This extended to students globally in 2005.•Launching the new brand: Cambridge International Study Centres and securing 16 Cambridge International Study Centres for the 2005 academic year. This meant considerable growth for the British International Distance College.•Acting as the Director of Studies and Change Manager for the full time Campus in Pretoria.•Students attaining academic excellence with commendation from Cambridge University (both Full time & Distance) every year since 2004.•Placing the Distance College in the top percentile worldwide for academic excellence.•Elected an ACESA Executive Member to represent Cambridge Centres throughout Southern Africa (2 years)British International Skills Academy (ABET) •Appointed Director of the British International Skills Academy.
