I lead the Essex Business School accreditation team, project managing the successful delivery of the School's accreditation activities in the UK and international markets.

Lead on digital marketing strategy for Essex Business School, the largest department at the University of Essex. Responsible for digital marketing campaigns using AdWords and social media display advertising, website content, including optimising for SEO, and social media campaigns.

I established Crafted’s marketing division, working alongside the Commercial Director to create, deliver and review online and offline marketing strategies to raise the agency’s profile, develop brand awareness and grow its customer base. Responsibilities included: PR, social media, website planning and management across three websites, including writing, editing and uploading web copy, content management and coordinating the agency’s blog, events, online outreach, digital campaign management, copywriting, proofreading, email marketing and event management (including the Digital Bites networking series, Business on a Bike events, the Drive Digital conference and a range of seminars and exhibition management). I also worked with Ipswich Borough Council to coordinate Crafted’s sponsorship of Ipswich Cycling Weekend and the Crafted Classique sportive. I negotiated the sponsorship contract, devised and executed promotion, spanning online and offline PR, email, print advertising and social media. I generated 500 sportive entries in 2014 (double those of 2013) and secured more than 50 pieces of coverage across radio, print and online. I was also responsible for content management of the Ipswich Cycling Weekend website.

Committee member, responsible for internal communications and publicity for the award winning Hospital Radio Chelmsford. I also edited and managed the production of the 2013 patient magazine.

Responsible for all PR, including drafting and securing bylines, press releases, guest posts and case studies. Other activities included; event management, social media and copywriting for marketing materials and SEO, as well as coordinating the company’s blogs via Wordpress. I booked adverts, conducted market research and handled event sponsorship, as well as managing the staff bulletin and introducing monthly company meetings to improve internal communication.

Daily contact for clients, including the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), ConstructionSkills and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (now Department for Education). Built and maintained excellent media relationships and wrote and issued press releases, bylines, blog posts, case studies and coordinated reactive comment. Monitored coverage and compiled campaign collateral, including spokesperson documents and coverage reports.
