Leads the Digital Information Project Management Office and the delivery of transitional ICT programs and system changes, arising from the Machinery of Government organisational changes (MoG). It is responsible for the leadership of several project work streams. This includes project initiation, development of governance and due-diligence ICT frameworks, design of program of work, business process review, vendor engagement and management, communication and change management, and review of operational ICT support models and service readiness capacity in light of changes to operations. ● Drive ICT transformation requirements across the Department, and lead the Project Management Office and oversee the delivery of all project work streams and ICT programs● Oversee the establishment and leveraging of new and existing digital platforms to better meet customer needs, this may be for new requirements, transition (machinery of government) or migration from existing, bespoke and legacy systems● Lead the PMO function to manage the delivery of a portfolio of cross agency IT transition projects developing tools, frameworks and processes in accordance with project management best practice to deliver, monitor and report on projects managing the transition of IT systems, software and hardware while maintaining continuity of services● Engage with senior stakeholders to develop and agree project scope, budgets, timelines and deliverables and influence them to allocate appropriate human, financial and physical resources to the virtual project teams● Build and facilitate close working relationships with senior stakeholders, including agencies, third parties and owners of relevant specialist portfolios, acting a customer Advocate at Steercos and ICT committees with regard to the effective utilisation of existing and adoption of new technologies for the sector● Lead digital and ICT collaboration teams as they seek to provide governance, collaboration and successful outcomes for customers
