I worked at an entrepreneurial level implementing our strategic plan by nurturing existing businesses and fostering new relationships to increase business and expand product reach. I captured new business through referrals, networking, expert market positioning, and by constantly providing quality flooring and exceptional customer service. I provided Property Managers, Facility Managers, Architects and Business Owners my expert product selection abilities by representing a diverse portfolio of manufacturers. This enabled my clients to receive the best flooring for their specific application all while contacting only one person that works with them through the whole process beginning with product selection and continuing through installation.

LEED Coordination from conception through completion, my focus is on building certifiable projects with the lowest cost impact. Educating office and field staff on LEED requirements and how to "build" a LEED project. Assisting Project Management with contract administration, scope of work changes, subcontractor coordination, specification adherence and customer satisfaction to deliver projects on time, within budget and of high quality.Worked directly with Director of Marketing preparing Proposals for the Federal Government.

My focus was primarily on preparing CoE Proposals while developing relationships with key contacts to grow business. Additionally, I was in charge of Office Management and Project Coordination.

On the estimating side I coordinated all projects starting with the Bid, during Pre-Construction, during Purchasing and assist in the turnover to Project Management. Once the project was turned over the the PM, I tracked and ensured each one of the projects was able to achieve a LEED Silver rating, as required by the Corps of Engineers. A partial summary of this process includes plan distribution, web-site maintenance, sub-contractor solicitations, RFP preparations, LEED reviews and meeting coordination. My position with Mason & Hanger was very challenging becasue we only bid on DoD projects for the Corps of Engineers. All jobs are hard bid, and the market is was very competetive leading to a high volume of sub-contractor bids. While working there I had to master a new set of skills to work with companies throughout the United States. This challenge has proved to be very rewarding. While providing technical assistance and Great Customer Service skills many new relationships were developed with quality Sub-Contractors.

Worked directly with our Senior Estimator to coordinate subcontractor bids, scheduling of bids, bid solicitations, and maintain databases for accurate contact information. We worked mainly on estimating commercial projects that include, retail, education, healthcare, and tenant finish projects. I believe that when you give great customer service to each person encountered, from development until the end of each project that you will create a long-lasting partnership and in turn will be successful.

Assisted the General Manager in all aspects of the business while running daily shifts. I was the training manager while I was at Panera because of my passion for hiring and retaining great employees.
