Prepare staff recommendations to the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals concerning rezone and variance requests. Presents agenda items with staff reports to Planning Commission, Board of Commissioners, and Zoning Board of Appeals. Initiate action and work with County Marshal as necessary to correct violations to the Zoning Ordinance. Consult with citizens and developers concerning rezones, variance requests, codes/ordinances, building permits, plan reviews, procedures, forms, and other issues. Respond to routine questions and complaints, research problems and initiate problem resolution. Researches various records and resources as needed for studies, reports and recommendations.
