2018 Vic was brought in to Powerband Solutions to set up an outbound call centre for their dealer event company Lead Source Canada. In May 2019, the call centre was acquired by a group of investors and the name changed to W.H.Y. Make Appointments. In 2014 Vic with help from several people with like minded influences, founded "Dealer Intelligence"​ and became Chief Marketing Officer, a great little company totally dedicated to booking appointments for your Automotive Dealership. Using his training processes, Vic created professionally trained Automotive Appointment Coordinators, who are dedicated to increasing your booked appointments with less expense than can be done with within the dealership. In 1998 Vic became President and co-founder of ASL Internet Ltd, Mr. Kovacs'​ vision for ASL Internet was first as an Internet based dealership-to-dealership wholesale system. Under his leadership ASL Internet had grown into a full vehicle management, marketing and remarketing system for automotive dealerships. Led by his training "boot camps" ASL Internet introduced and trained over 3000 automotive dealers on different techniques on internet marketing. In 2008 ASL Internet was acquired by Canoe, a subsidiary company of Quebecor Media and than 2 years later transferred over to Sun Media also a Quebecor company. After acquisition Mr Kovacs stayed on to transfer the knowledge and work with training division. He has also consulted for other companies such as Toyota New Zealand, Automotivaters, Mobile Finance and several automotive dealer groups. Considered today as a thought leader in automotive internet marketing he has written training manuals and set up many Internet based sales departments that have been results driven using tried and true processes,Specialties: Automotive sales processes
