Management of the support team and tender process. Managed various projects over the years working with clients including Dacorum Borough Council, Birmingham City Council, Knowsley Housing Trust, West Lindsay District Council. For a number of years the role was split role approx. 40% time was spent working for HouseMark, responsibilities included: · Managing and monitoring the partnership between the two organisations. Worked as an Environmental Scientist for various clients within the construction/infrastructure industry. Key clients included the Highways Agency, Environment Agency, Envirowise. Main projects are detailed below:- Highways Agency Support (North). Provision of support to the Environment Sustainable Development Group. - Highways Agency Portfolio Support (West). Assisting the management of a portfolio of research and development projects. - Builder Campaign – On-site Training. Delivery of training on resource efficiency and waste management to small construction companies in Yorkshire and the North West. During this campaign I delivered training sessions to over forty different construction companies in Yorkshire and the North West.- UK: Quick Win Design Solutions – Construction Waste. Development Quick Win Guide detailing solutions for reducing construction waste minimisation through design.

Working within the Corporate Occupational Risk Team my main role was to develop environmental guidelines in line with recent legislative requirements. After the development of the guidelines it was my responsibility to implement/deliver training to embed them into the business (in particular outside broadcasts and productions). Other responsibilities/tasks undertaken included:• A review, revision and publication of existing environmental information on BBC intranet site.• Develop training material for productions including an on-line environment course using Mohive software. • Delivered environmental compliance training, investigated environmental incidents, recommendations of KPIs, legislation tracking.• Development of environmental monitoring requirements and compliance checklists for buildings, outside broadcasts, events and locations.• Established core environmental responsibilities and the associated training needed for all aspects [buildings, locations, outside broadcasts and events] of the BBC.• Conducted environmental audit/compliance inspections for buildings, outside broadcasts, events and locations. Liaised with individuals to develop action plans and establish training needs.

Worked within the UK Strategy team as an environmental analyst and also the Renewables department. Key responsibility included:* The development and maintenance of an Environmental Management System for the department.* Tracking legislation and preparing consultation papers.* Development of a budget tracking system.* Production of a company wide newsletter.* Maintenance of Key Performance Indicator system.* Drafting environmental statements for proposed wind farms.* Site visits to potential wind farm sites.
