I am married with children and grandchildren. In 2019 my husband and I decided on a lifestyle change and moved out of Auckland to a rural property near the coastal village of Mangonui in the Far North of New Zealand.I enjoy being outdoors gardening and tending our hens and a small flock of three sheep. Aside from working, I enjoy being in or on the water and enjoy leisure time at the beaches of the Far North.Professionally, I am a teacher who thrives on being in the classroom where aside from teaching mostly Mathematics and some Psychology, I delight in learning from my students. I love the secondary school environment and participating in the process where people enter this phase of their lives as children and leave as young adults after four or five years when they launch themselves into the world of study and/or work.
