With over 30 years’ experience in publishing and events, I founded Nimble Media in 2013; a full-service multi-media marketing company, based in Rutland, which specialises in event management, marketing, public relations, creative and publishing.The reason for choosing the name ‘Nimble’ was based on its dictionary descriptive: quick and exact either in movement or thoughts; agile.The team at Nimble Media devotes the same levels of attention to detail, commitment, focus and energy, no matter what the scale, to ensure your message is heard. We become an extension of your team, enabling you to get on with the ‘day job’.Nimble Media boast an impressive portfolio of publications, events, PR/Marketing and website creation. Nimble Media are responsible for a number of key industry events including the launch of The Heavies awards for the Abnormal and Heavy Load industry; the Big Rail Diversity Challenge in support of Women in Rail and the promotion of gender diversity within the UK Rail sector; and the Women in Rail Awards, celebrating companies and individuals who promote and campaign for increased gender diversity within the UK Rail industry. Our publications include the official visitor guide for the county of Rutland, Discover Rutland; the monthly magazine for members of the national charity, Disabled Motoring UK; the official visitor guide for South Kesteven. We work with businesses producing bespoke literature and promotional materials, including information brochures for Anglian Water and their various leisure sites across the region. Nimble Media is the UK agency for marketing and communications for Spanish train builder CAF (Construcciones Y Auxiliar De Ferrocarriles) breaking the news in 2017 across national press that they were to build a factory in Wales.
