Working freelance for H&F EHCP team on school based projects 0.8. Projects involve supporting SEND through school mergers, developing ASC understanding and cultures within schools and I deliver online and in person INSET. April 22 - ongoing. Time divided between three schools, two of which are in the process of merging. All schools have a high number of Autistic students. Strategies have included assessing need, setting up a sensory rooms, staff training to run social communication groups and attention autism sessions, and training around visual supports SCERTS and intensive interaction. Supported schools SEND students merging into temp site for 6 weeks and move into perminant new school Oct 2023. ASC class emerged through the changes and are now developing their own SEND teacher, support is ongoing. Sept 21- April 22 transitioning 6 EYFS CYP into an ASC base.

We also have a focus on supporting children who sometimes find language a barrier to learning through use of engaging; visuals, gameplay, rewards and use of haptic features .

Pandemic work: Teaching in small groups or 1:1 GCSE Edexcel Psychology using Classin. Remote learning from London to Beijing.Having taught TEFEL and both Psychology and Sociology at GCSE and A Level this was a natural fit as Lockdown work. Teaching small groups using remote technology allows very fast paced learning. I enjoy being able to personalise and accelerate the learning experience and experiment with the latest digital mediums.

The school had an unexpected influx of high need children. Worked to form a welcome group to build social communication skills for a range of children who could access a classroom setting. Supported parents to choose appropriate setting for self directed, Y2 child on P scales who had been out of schooling for the previous two years. Set up effective systems to engage, sustain and educate high need children through play via; intensive interaction, modelling and shaping speech sounds and use of visual supports.

British Psychological Society recognised Occupational and Aptitude Assessor. Qualified to administer psychometric assessments. Following involvement in an exciting pilot involving feeding back on over 700 of Saville's 'Myself', careers development reports to students Y7-Y13, I also worked on developing a talent management program at Graveney school applying Savilleconsulting's development reports and 360 feedback tools.

One of the highlights of my time as Head of Sociology and Deputy Head of the Social Sciences department was our examination success. Sociology consistently had children in the top 5% nationally and was a school leader for progress scores. I initiated several projects within my last year at Graveney. The social media initiative ranged from introducing subject based twitter feeds and creating educational apps to using psychometric assessment as careers guidance for our 'ever 6' children. The twitter feed supports both wider reading and ensures that students can access education through a variety of mediums, youtube tutorials also support SEN as allows an additional level of scaffolding for students, and the app project which has developed into madebyeducators.com. The talent management project inspired by savilleconsultings pilot at Graveney has also allowed me to up-skill into the field of psychometric testing with a view to releasing potential in our middle managers and developing new talent.

The International Program of Kasetsart University Laboratory School was the result of the government's plan to develop the English skill of Thai people. The International Program, sometimes referred as Satit Kaset IP, was the first public international school in Thailand. I taught classes in English and lead additional support classes for a small group of students with Special Educational Needs.
