Took the opportunity to integrate the cash and derivatives operations by re-engineering common processes thereby increased operational efficiency, promoted staff development, and improved participant services. Implemented the standard product development framework across departments which improved product launch processes. Managed and enhanced the China-Hong Kong stock connect, including the launch of T-day money settlement across participating banks.

Conducted IOSCO and EMIR TCCP compliance review and liaised with regulators e.g. the SFC and HKMA to obtain clearance and approval. Conducted due-diligence work on the acquisition of London Metal Exchange. Developed after hour clearing to support extended trading and clearing of deriavtives products. Established long-term relationships with international and mainland counterparts including Shanghai Clearing House, Shanghai Futures Exchange, China Financial Futures Exchange, ChinaClear, CME, Eurex, and New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
